Pete Jackson

Peter Jackson is a planner, environmentalist, and Landscape Architect dedicated to providing spaces that protect and enhance the environment and promote responsible public use. Through his more than 30-year career he has undertaken park, recreation and open space planning and design on projects of all scales, from master planning for 108,000 acres of land and water at John H. Kerr Reservoir in Virginia and North Carolina to design and construction of 1000 square foot landscape displays for the New England Flower Show. His work includes new land protection initiatives, new parks and recreation facilities, rehabilitation of existing sites, and historic landscape restorations.

Mr. Jackson has extensive experience in the business of land planning and design and the challenges of park operations and maintenance. These experiences have led to an appreciation of the total concept of land stewardship, involving quality design and construction, maintenance and natural resource management, user safety and security, park operations, site programming, building partnerships, and developing resources and funding.
